Meen yesadda’
It is an Egyptian film that premiered in Egypt on November 27, 2024, and was released in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwait on December 12, 2024. The film marks the directorial debut of Zeina Abdel Baki.
Nadine lives a life of emptiness until she meets a charming con artist named Basem. Drawn to him, she becomes entangled in a web of deceit and fraud that turns her world upside down.
The film stars Youssef Omar, Jaida Mansour, and Sherif Mounir. Actor Ashraf Abdel Baki supported his daughter, director Zeina, by co-producing the film. Several well-known actors appeared as guest stars, including Soliman Eid, Ahmed Rizk, and Ashraf Abdel Baki himself.
The film was screened in the “Horizons of Arab Cinema” competition at the 45th Cairo International Film Festival in November 2024. It was withdrawn from Egyptian cinemas on January 30, 2025, after earning 4 million EGP over nine weeks.
